The County Administrative Boards and MILSA are co-hosting this year’s national conference on civic orientation 12–13 April. Get updated on the latest knowledge, listen to interesting speakers and participate in exciting seminars!
Civic and health communication, which also includes health communication, accelerates the pace of establishment in the labor market. The conference presents the results of a unique development process where research and practice have collaborated across municipal and regional boundaries to create conditions for national equality and high quality. The majority of Swedish municipalities and all County Administrative Boards have participated in the work.
The conference launches the methodological material produced within MILSA, and interesting new results from evaluations of the MILSA educational platform will be presented. You will meet civic and health communicators, representatives of entities working with civic orientation, the County Administrative Boards, collaborating universities and partners.
The conference also offers several exciting seminars! For example, you may deepen your knowledge in digital learning, mental health, parenting, the method bank, crisis communication/digital adjustment, and examples of activities included in the 100 hours of civic orientation.
Invited guests contribute with interesting perspectives. You will, among other things, listen to Ing-Marie Wieselgren, Project Manager, Assignment Mental Health at The Swedish Association of Local Authorities and Regions (SALAR), and Elena Namli, Professor of Theological Ethics at Uppsala University.
Civic and health communication is an important piece of the puzzle for strengthening and developing democracy. That is why we are pleased to be able to welcome the Speaker of the Riksdag, Andreas Norlén, as the conference’s first speaker.
A detailed program will be published here shortly.
