Already early in the pandemic, Partnership Skåne was commissioned by The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) to support national authorities in reaching out to the migrant population with relevant information on how to protect oneself and limit the effects of the pandemic.
The communication effort consists of information films where civic and health communicators provide current information from the Public Health Agency and responsible authorities in different languages. So far 15 thematic information films presented by civic and health communicators in 11 languages have been produced and made widely available to the general public.
The films contain information about Covid-19 and what you can do to protect yourself and your surroundings, current information from responsible authorities, and in-depth information of current important protection and risk factors.
Collaborating partners of Partnership Skåne in Covid-19 infodemic response included the Public Health Agency, The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency, the National Board of Health and Welfare and county administrative boards throughout the country. The intense collaboration continued through the year 2020 and the process was documented by Lund University. The collaboration continues in 2021 with continued assignment as new films are being produced about Covid-19 testing and vaccination.
